Augmentation

Human and nature - or is it human against nature? There is a dynamic tension which seems to develop in the wrong direction. But people, culture and techniques are constantly evolving. How could this relationship develop in the future? How could technical design processes be more biophilic? For this project I experimented with the platform Artbreeder.com. The A.I. was given pictures of plants and green areas, which were then alienated. To this result, I added organic and abstract forms, which transport the former 2D picture into an augmented reality. This way the object can be put back and displayed into nature and transport animated and tangible information.
